The Dancing Platforms are a part of the Spring Fayre located in the south-eastern part of the crater. They are led by Dixie and Mixie. Dancing on the platforms during the event allows players to gain Prayer experience for the cost of two fayre attraction tokens.
Player dances on one of the five platforms and attempts to follow the dance performed by the leaders (step, samba, skip, or twirl). Doing the correct dance yields 79.2 Prayer experience at level 99 (87.1 during a Happy Hour) every 2.4 seconds. It also has a roughly 50% chance to award six fayre prize tickets (one during a Happy Hour).
During a Happy Hour, around 1,500 actions can be made for 750 tickets.
There is a confirmation prompt about gaining experience before starting dancing that can be toggled off permanently.
Attempting to dance on a platform without enough fayre attraction tokens prompts the messages:
- You do not have enough fayre tokens to take part in this activity. You need 2 tokens.
- You can get more fayre tokens and tickets from the stall by the Bucking Baroo.
Followers must be dismissed before players are allowed on the platforms, and attempting to dance on one with one out prompts "Followers don't have the required rhythm to join you in your dancing. Please dismiss it." Despite this restriction, it is possible to summon a pet from the Customisation window using the "summon pet" option on the Summoning icon on the action bar after getting on the platform.
