Recommended	Ardougne lodestone Home teleport, Skills necklace, Lunar Spellbook (with 85 Magic), Ardougne teleport, or an Ardougne Cloak for faster access to the Fishing Guild Ardougne cloak or Portable fairy ring/Dramen staff/Lunar staff (unless Fairy Tale III - Orks Rift has been completed) to get to the Tower of Life

Getting Started

• Talk to Jones the fisherman outside the Fishing Guild bank. ( ✓•1•2•3•4•2)…

• Pickpocket the Master fisher (near the guild entrance) for the sea chart.
• Talk to the Master fisher. ( 1)…

  1	Ask about the Deadliest Catch.

Preparing a Hunt

• Talk to Linza who is North-East of the Guild (At the anvil).
• Go to the Tower of Life south of Ardougne. (Fairy ring DJP)
• Talk to 'The Guns'.
• Talk to Bonafido for builder's tea.
• East of the tower, pick the southernmost of the 3 lowland heather bunch.
• Use the heather on the tea.
• Talk to 'The Guns'. ( 1)…

Fish Finding

• Talk to Jones. ( 1)…

  1	Lead the way!

• Track the Thalassus via the wreckage.

The Mermaids

• Talk to the group of mermaids. ( 2•1•3•2•3•1)…

  2	The Thalassus has eaten Jones the mighty fisherman.
  1	It should, he's been hunting for decades.
  3	Very horrid! After he's killed the Thalassus, he'll probably come after you.
  2	Trust me, I'm a great adventurer, I should know.
  3	Did I mention Jones has a harpoon with him?
  1	It's no ordinary harpoon.

Rescuing Jones

• Track the Thalassus again.
• Talk to Jones.
• Talk to Linza.
• Talk to Jones.
• Quest complete!

Rewards

• 1 quest point
• 70,000 experience
• 26,000 experience
• 8,000 experience
• Any loot you got from the wreckages, up to six items
• Wieldable fishing nets (a small cast net and a big cast net) after speaking to Jones
• The option to hunt the Thalassus 10 more times for a total of 46,660 extra experience
