Death's office

Death's office is an office owned by Harold Death Esquire, more commonly known as simply Death or the Grim Reaper. It can be accessed via a portal next to the Draynor Village lodestone. It is also accessed when players die for the first time, and during the Some Like It Cold quest.

The office is part of Death's mansion, and appears to be on an island suspended by chains in a void, and is decorated by murals depicting Harold becoming Death. Although it is part of his mansion, due to magic, the rest of the mansion cannot be seen, although a door can be seen leading to it. As its name would imply, Death himself can be found sitting at his desk inside the centre of the office. His pet hellhound Muncher can be found sitting in the corner behind him.

Players must come here in order to start the Soul Reaper activity, and to purchase rewards for it from Death's Store, although a Grim gem can be used to obtain new tasks once the activity has been started. Players also appear here when they die for the first time, in which case Death provides a short tutorial explaining death, respawn points, and gravestones. In the beta, after the first death, players will respawn at Death's office if they have wealth risked upon death. Players can access the River Noumenon through the door behind his desk, following completion of Nomad's Elegy.

The Boss collection log can also be found in here, behind Death's desk.

During Missing, Presumed Death, due to Death's kidnapping, Frank can instead be found in the office, and fulfils the same role as Death himself does.

During Dishonour among Thieves the player finds Nomad here in combat with Death. The player persuades Death to release Nomad and let him join the player. Death allows it because the player saved him during Missing, Presumed Death, but only on the condition Nomad will return here afterwards.
