Ded Meet is a player spoof that features as the player's first opponent wielding a steel sword in the Crucible's first tutorial, Fighting in the Crucible, as an easy level 35 opponent. Ded Meet cannot kill you during the first encounter.

If you kill him more than once, Miles would stop you from gathering more trophy bones.

After you've killed him the first time, you will have to fight him a second time, where he could easily hit over 500 at the speed of throwing knives and through prayer. He would always heal 10 life points when he is about to die.

In the second tutorial, The Supreme Champion, he returns as Supreme Ded Meet. Here he wields Annihilation instead of a steel sword, and receives a special attack with which he is able to deal massive amounts of damage. It is impossible to bank in this tutorial. While you could safe spot him with a halberd and he still only has 1000 health, he cannot be defeated as he heals 150 life points every time when he is near death. After the player dies for the first time, he will lose his ability to heal and only has 100 life points remaining, so you will be able to kill him. You will receive some trophy bones from Miles afterwards. Although he always drops Obliteration, Decimation and Annihilation, players cannot pick them up.

In the third tutorial, Supreme Weapons, four weak copies of Ded Meet are present to test the supreme weapons on. They also have 1000 life points and heal for 150 near death.

You can only get one set of trophy bones from each of the occasions in which you kill him.

Trivia[]

  • His name is likely a spin on "dead meat".
  • He would randomly shout things like "I hate you!" "Die!" "Argh!" when attacking.
  • When Ded Meet repeatedly heals himself at the brink of death, it will count as a killing blow for the purpose abilities such as Sacrifice (increased healing) and Pulverise (adrenaline refund). It will also remove most status effects on him.
