Augmentors can be applied to a variety of tier 70+ weapons, shields, and armour. Augmented items can hold gizmos with perks applied to them, lending attributes, buffs, and debuffs to the item. Augmented equipment can also be trained through combat and then either siphoned or disassembled for Invention experience. For a list of items that can be augmented, refer to this page.
An empty shell which can be filled with materials to create perks, and then installed into an augmented weapon. Different materials can create different perks, of which some are useful (such as increased weapon accuracy), some are harmful (such as skulling the player), and some are merely curious attributes (such as receiving an occasional humorous private message from the augmented item). Up to two shells can be installed on a two-handed weapon, while single-handed weapons can only hold one.
A consumable item which adds 3,000 charges to the Charge pack. Charges are used while using augmented equipment in a similar way to how regular equipment degrades through use.
Any tier of Divine energy can be used to manufacture a charge pack, though the amount of energy needed is inversely related to its tier (e.g., 350 tier-11 energy or 225 tier-12 energy can be used to create one pack).
An empty shell which can be filled with materials to create perks, and then installed into an augmented shield or piece of armour. Different materials can create different perks, of which some are useful (such as a 20% chance to reduce incoming damage by 5%), some are harmful (such as skulling the player), and some are merely curious attributes (such as receiving an occasional humorous private message from the augmented item).
An empty shell which can be filled with materials to create perks, and then installed into an augmented tool. Different materials can create different perks, of which some are useful (such as an increased chance of obtaining resources), some are harmful (such as a 3% chance of dropping the resource the player just gathered), and some are merely curious attributes (such as receiving an occasional humorous private message from the augmented item).
Functions as an augmented version of a regular Fishing rod, meaning that it uses divine charges, levels up through training, and can be either disassembled or siphoned for Invention experience (with the same experience rates as a tier-70 item). Tool gizmo shells can be installed into the Fishing rod-o-matic to grant perks.
Functions as an augmented version of a regular Tinderbox, meaning that it uses divine charges, levels up through training, and can be either disassembled or siphoned for Invention experience (with the same experience rates as a tier-70 item). Tool gizmo shells can be installed into the Pyro-matic to grant perks.
Functions as an augmented version of a regular Hammer, meaning that it uses divine charges, levels up through training, and can be either disassembled or siphoned for Invention experience (with the same experience rates as a tier-70 item). Tool gizmo shells can be installed into the Hammer-tron to grant perks.
An item which can be operated to summon a Distracting Soul, which reduces the chance of being caught while pickpocketing. Souls last for 1 minute, and operation will consume 100 Divine charges. The blueprints to discover the Soul-in-a-box are a reward from the Nomad's Elegy quest.
An item which, while in the inventory, will increase the experience gained by teleporting urns by 25%, consuming 20 divine charges per urn. The blueprints to discover the Urn enhancer are a reward from the Nomad's Elegy quest.
Resets the experience on an augmented item to zero, granting Invention experience roughly equivalent to disassembling an item of two levels lower. For instance, siphoning a level 10 item gives experience equivalent to disassembling a level 8 item. However, the same amount of experience is granted by disassembling a level 10 item as is granted by siphoning a level 12+ item.
It allows players to extract the equipment experience from an augmented crystal tool without destroying it, in the same way as an equipment siphon. However, siphoning augmented crystal equipment with a crystal tool siphon gives Invention experience as if they were tier 90 items instead of tier 70.
The Fishing accumulator is essentially an inverse fishing urn - while an urn fills up through successfully catching fish, the accumulator gains charge every time the player fails to catch whatever they are fishing for. Once full, the accumulator can be "studied", which destroys the accumulator and awards 2500 fishing experience.
Untradeable version of Magic notepaper. When an item from inventory is used on magic notepaper, it will instantly convert that item (and any identical items in inventory) into notes, thus allowing the items to stack.
The Woodcutting accumulator is essentially an inverse woodcutting urn - while an urn fills up through successfully chopping a tree, the accumulator gains charge every time the player fails to chop down whatever they are trying to cut. Once full, the accumulator can be "studied", which destroys the accumulator and awards 2500 woodcutting experience.
It will accumulate charges while being one space away from a bank and held in the inventory. It will charge until 100% at which point it will explode, giving 5 sets of 25 random common parts (excluding crystal) and 4 sets of 1 uncommon component (excluding refined). In addition, it will also have a 1% chance of producing 1 rare material.
It is a consumable variant of a box trap with a very high rate of successful catches. It has 25 charges and charges will not be consumed for failed attempts to catch a creature.
The Mining accumulator is essentially an inverse mining urn - while an urn fills up through successfully mining ore, the accumulator gains charge every time the player fails to get an ore from whatever they are trying to mine. Once full, the accumulator can be "studied", which destroys the accumulator and awards 2500 mining experience.
A single-use item which allows the player to switch their prayer book between the Standard Prayers and the Ancient Curses. It can only be used in "safe" areas, such as banks.
It is a consumable device with 50 charges that increases the Prayer experience gained from burying bones and scattering ashes by 250%, giving the same experience as a gilded altar with both burners lit.
