Blue diamond baubles were used in the 2005 Christmas event, in which they would be delivered to the Christmas tree in the centre of Varrock for a reward. Players would start out with an unpainted diamond bauble from either shaking an imp or picking it up from Diango's Workshop, and then paint it in the workshop.

They featured again in the 2016 Christmas event.
