Documents are an unobtainable item added to the game alongside the The Fremennik Isles quest. They are apparently addressed to Ali Morrisane in Al Kharid, but their intended use is otherwise unknown. The only mention of Al Kharid in the final quest is a mention by Slug Hemligssen of an agent of Jatizso operating there, while Ali Morrisanne is not mentioned at all.
While in a player's inventory, they would have had an "open note" option.
