Dragon plateskirt detail

The dragon plateskirt is a crimson plate skirt that requires 60 Defence to be equipped. It is dropped by bronze, iron, steel, adamant, rune and elite rune dragons, though it is mostly a rare drop. It has the same stats as the dragon platelegs. The dragon plateskirt has a high alchemy price of 162,000, which is similar to the Grand Exchange price. This allows players who have trouble selling it to just cast high alchemy on it for almost the same price.

A dragon plateskirt could be combined with a dragon platelegs/skirt ornament kit (or) to make a gold-trimmed dragon plateskirt (or), with a dragon platelegs/skirt ornament kit (sp) to make a spiky dragon plateskirt (sp), or with a dragonbone upgrade kit to make a dragonbone plateskirt. None of these cosmetic enhancements change the stats in any way.

Trivia[]

  • For many years the dragon plateskirt was often used as a cheaper alternative to dragon platelegs, as the two items give the same stat bonuses. However, the price of dragon platelegs gradually fell to match that of the plateskirt, and many players who preferred the appearance of the platelegs began wearing them instead of the plateskirt.
