Dragonhide armour is medium to high-levelled ranged armour providing respectable defensive bonuses. It is commonly worn in situations where a strong defence against magical attacks is required, including elemental Slayer monsters and player killing. It is made through the Crafting skill, from the hide of various dragons.
Dragonhide armour comes in different colours and strengths depending on the hide it was made from, with different colours offering different bonuses. Each set of dragonhide armour has a coif, vambraces, boots, a body, chaps, and a shield.
The colours of dragonhide, in order of defensive strength, are:
Green dragonhide armour
Blue dragonhide armour
Red dragonhide armour- Black dragonhide armour
- Royal dragonhide armour (made from the hide of the Queen Black Dragon)
- Third-age ranger armour (obtained from Treasure Trails)
There are also god-blessed cosmetic armours that are trimmed in their god's colour, with equivalent stats to black dragonhide. They are all obtained from Treasure Trails, and may protect against relevant followers in the God Wars Dungeon.
- Guthix dragonhide blessed set: does not protect against any followers in the God Wars Dungeon
- Saradomin dragonhide blessed set: protects wearer from Saradomin followers in the God Wars Dungeon
- Zamorak dragonhide blessed set: protects wearer from Zamorak followers in the God Wars Dungeon
- Ancient dragonhide blessed set: does not protect against any followers in the God Wars Dungeon
- Armadyl dragonhide blessed set: protects the wearer from Armadyl followers in the God Wars Dungeon
- Bandos dragonhide blessed set: protects wearer from Bandos followers in the God Wars Dungeon
Dragonhide armour does not interfere with Ava's accumulator, Ava's attractor or Ava's alerter.
