Drinks are food items that are related to some sort of liquid that can come from a cup, tankard, beer glass, cocktail glass, or other container. Often the consumption of drinks will result in more than just healing Life Points, but will change your skill stats as well, either giving a bonus or a penalty. Although some drinks can heal life points, food is easier to obtain and heals more life points than drinks.

Normal ales[]

Some drinks in this list have a mature version, indicated by (m), which has stronger effects than the regular versions. All mature ales are members only, and are all obtainable only through brewing (except mature Dwarven stout and Ranger's aid). Mature ales also heal 30 life points more than the regular versions, except for Pigswill and Ranger's aid.

  3. Add the main ingredient of whatever drink you're making to the fermenting vat.
  4. Add a pot of ale yeast.

  1. Remove a kettle, a teapot and one or more cups from the shelf.
  2. Remove one unit of tea leaves from the larder.
  3. Use the kettle on the sink to fill it with water.
  4. Use the full kettle of water on the range to bring it to a boil.
  5. Use the tea leaves on the teapot to fill the teapot.
  6. Remove the kettle from the range when the message "The kettle boils." is received.
  7. Use the hot kettle on the teapot with leaves to create four servings of tea. This is the only step that grants cooking experience.
  8. Use the pot of tea on a cup to pour a cup of tea.

Servants (the maid, cook, butler, and demon butler) will make tea for the player provided the kitchen has the required shelves and larder constructed.
