Drygore weaponry is an array of six weapons dropped by the Kalphite King. They are equipment requiring level 90 Attack to wield. One of the cheapest ways to repair the equipment is with chitin scraps, which can be bought from the Grand Exchange or made by smithing damaged chitin into chitin scraps. Damaged chitin is a drop from the exiled kalphites in the Exiled Kalphite Hive. Alternative methods of repair are listed below.
It is a common misconception that when using abilities, the drygore mace is weaker than the rapier or longsword because of its lower damage rating. As weapon speed affects ability damage, the three weapon types offer the same damage per second.
All drygore weaponry may be augmented using an Augmentor from the Invention skill. Each drygore weapon contains a single perk slot, into which a weapon perk can be added.

Degradation[]
Drygore weaponry degrades to a broken state after 60,000 charges of combat (but uses 2 charges per hit). They can be repaired at any point using coins by a Repair NPC (for a full repair, 3,000,000 coins for main hand and 1,500,000 coins for off-hand weapons), or for roughly half that on an armour stand at 99 Smithing. Alternatively, they can be repaired using chitin scraps – for a full repair, 10,000 scraps for main hand and 5,000 scraps for off-hand weapons.
When comparing using chitin scraps to an armour stand, the Smithing level at which the cost is equal is 140; as the price reduction from the armour stand caps at level 105 Smithing, it is cheaper to repair drygore weaponry with chitin.
