Early Bird Bonus

The Early Bird Bonus is offered by some game content, which is essentially extra experience rewards for completing or making sufficient progress in the new content within a short time from the contents release usually the first two weeks. So far the following Early Bird Bonuses have been released:

• The Elder Kiln, giving an early bird tome if the player completes it within two weeks of the quest's release by 28 February 2012.
• The Fight Kiln, giving an early bird lamp if the player reached Wave 30 within two weeks of the minigame's release by 28 February 2012.
• The Morytania achievements, giving an early bird antique lamp if the player completes the easy and medium achievements by 11 April 2012.
• Some Like It Cold, giving an early bird tome for completion before 28 August 2012.
• Slayer contract, giving either double cash or double experience when completing the first contract within two weeks of the release at 12 February 2013.
• Elder Divination, giving triple divine impling spawns, double Hunter and Divination experience, energy when catching divine implings and gathering from divine simulacrums within two weeks of the release at 6 May 2014.
• Broken Home, giving a large prismatic lamp and a prismatic large fallen star and boosted damage against ghosts in the 2014 Hallowe'en event.
• Rune and adamant dragons, giving increased spawn rates, higher chance for elite rune dragons spawning, and double the chance for a Slayer task until 6 July 2015.
• In Memory of the Myreque, rewarding 10x the experience until 8 May 2016.
• River of Blood, giving an extra use of the XP reward tome if completed by 8 May 2016.
• Children of Mah, giving an extra chapter of Kharshai's journal until 5 December 2016.
• Menaphos, giving +5% experience while skilling in the city from 5 June until 31 July 2017.
• Invention machines - The latest Invention update's early bird bonus is currently active. You will gain +50% XP on all blueprints discovered until Sunday 1st October 2017. This ran from 18 September to 1 October 2017.

Premier

Starting in 2018, Gold Premier Club members were given their own "early bird" bonuses for a variety of content:

• The Premier Club Vault was given access for free until 30 November 2017
• The Stalker gland was obtainable from the Guardian of the Vault until 22 January 2018
• Zaida offered a free Sealed clue scroll (master) until 11 March 2018
• The Bottled boost was obtainable from the Guardian of the Vault until 19 March 2018
• 500 Pieces of eight were obtainable from the Guardian of the Vault until 2 April 2018
• 500 Pilfer Points were obtainable from the Guardian of the Vault until 14 May 2018.
• A Lost grove mushrooms was obtainable allowed 5 free deaths in Solak until 12 June 2018.
• 2 Fishy treats that allowed players to skip a fight with The Sanctum Guardian.
