The Earth Rune is one of the four basic elemental runes. It is used first during the Confuse spell which uses 2 earth runes per spell. The last spell to use it in the normal spell book is Enchant Level 6 Jewellery which takes 20 earth runes.
Earth runes can be substituted by Dust Runes, Lava Runes, Mud Runes, Staff of Earth, Lava Battlestaff, Mud Battlestaff, Mystic Earth Staff, Mystic Lava Staff, or Mystic Mud Staff.
In the Fist of Guthix minigame it is substituted by Elemental Runes.
