Elves are humanoid monsters which replace the mourners traversing the Arandar pass after the Plague's End quest. They attack using melee attacks, and have the exact same stats and life points as the mourners they replace. Unlike mourners, they do not drop the mourner outfit, although it can be reobtained from a chest within the basement of the Mourner HQ in West Ardougne after the quest.
