The empowered earth staff can be found in the dungeons under Daemonheim. It requires 60 Magic to wield, and gives infinite earth runes while equipped. It can be found as part of the equipment provided on the starting tables, and can also be obtained as a drop from the Unholy cursebearer.
Some people choose the empowered earth staff over the empowered fire staff, as it will eliminate the need for earth runes when casting Vengeance, while there is little damage difference between fire and earth spells. However, the empowered fire staff (along with any unpowered staff) will eliminate the need for fire runes when casting High Level Alchemy.
The thigat staff has the same requirements and accuracy, and supplies infinite runes of all four elements.

Prior to the Evolution of Combat update, this staff could be created by empowering a thigat staff or better, requiring a Runecrafting level of 70. At present, it cannot be created.
