The Entrance Guardian is a rune essence golem created to welcome visitors to the Mage Training Arena, a magical training area found north of Al Kharid. The Guardian will give the Pizzaz Progress hat to new players, and explains about the nature of the arena, as well as its history and purpose. If your player has done Rune Mechanics and has their Rune Guardian, the Entrance Guardian will ask their rune guardian if they are encouraging you to practice your magic skill.

The Entrance Guardian also plays a small role in the Barbarians v. Wizards court case.
