The Fake man is an important quest item for the Eadgar's Ruse quest. Players need to give this item to Burntmeat, the troll cook in the Troll Stronghold, in order to find the location of the rare goutweed herb. It is really made of grain, raw chicken, dirty robes, and a drunken parrot.
It is possible to keep a Fake man after Eadgar's Ruse through dropping and asking for another, it is also possible to bank it. It serves no purpose after the quest, so it is not recommended to keep it.
