Fancy boots detail

Fancy boots are obtained as a reward for completing the Stronghold of Security. If lost, they can be obtained, or exchanged for Fighting boots, from the Cradle of Life at the end of the fourth level (The Sepulcher of Death). Fancy boots provide bonuses very similar to those of iron boots, and cannot be dropped, only destroyed.

These, along with Fighting boots, had the best defence bonuses of boots available to free players before the introduction of Warpriest of Saradomin boots and Warpriest of Zamorak boots.

Some people use these boots to match infinity robes, since they have similar colours.

According to the Items Kept on Death Interface, this item's value is 1 coin.

As with all foot-based equipment, except for the leather boots and snakeskin boots, this item cannot be made using the Smithing or crafting skill.
