The festive eggs are differently coloured eggs that were released on 24 April 2017 with the Spring Fayre update. They can be collected to contribute towards unlocking the title, The Fairest of Them All.
Finding an egg prompted the message You find a festive egg.
If destroyed, they will be permanently lost and can not be reclaimed. It has, however, been explicitly stated by Mod Krista that only finding the eggs count towards the title, and that it is not necessary to keep them.[1]
