The Blue Opal is a dwarven mining company operated primarily in the city of Keldagrim, the capital of the Dwarven Realm. The Blue Opal is a member of the Consortium, a collection of eight mining companies responsible for governing the city and its economy.
During The Giant Dwarf quest, a player can choose to help this company by gathering materials, primarily ore and bars, for its head secretary. After this is done, a player can do some tasks for the director. The director will then let the player join the company as a member, so that they can choose him to have a stone engraving of his head carved onto the giant statue that is in the middle of Keldagrim.
In Forgettable Tale..., the player can also ask him for help in removing the boards blocking a railway tunnel.
