The sapphire blue present was a 2012 holiday item that could be combined with other presents using the present collection to receive rewards such as the Christmas tree hat. It was obtained from the Squeal of Fortune (this is the most common present to receive) or as a drop from any monster (apart from quest only monsters) and from skilling, similarly to spin tickets. When claimed by itself it gives the player 5 Mince pies. Though it was tradeable, it was not available on the Grand Exchange. It was made unavailable to be reobtained after 31^st of December 2012.
