Fine cloth is a material used in the making of splitbark equipment that must be given to the Wizard Jalarast in the Wizards' Tower to create pieces of splitbark armour. Players can also use ten pieces of it along with a necromancer kit to turn Dagon'hai robes into necromancer gear.

Additionally, the Lab coat top and legs require 2 fine cloth each, along with a number of invention materials, to be made at an inventor's workbench.

Fine cloth can be obtained from any level of chest in the Shades of Mort'ton minigame, but the higher level chests have a better chance of acquiring it. A limited quantity can also be purchased from Zaff's Superior Spellcasting.
