A fire rune obtained in the Runespan is used to cross over gaps. It is used in aiding the "yellow wizard" and 10 are used in doing so. Obtaining a fire rune through siphoning will grant 0.25 Runespan points and will grant 17.5 Runecrafting experience if obtained from a Fire essling, 34.8 if obtained from a Fireball, and 22 or 42(?) if obtained from a Fire storm.
