[FAQ] [doc]

Flambeed is the second boss of the final subquest of the Recipe for Disaster quest, (Defeating the Culinaromancer), and is made of giant hot cakes. Players will need to wear ice gloves while fighting him, or else they will not be able to wield a weapon. He is a reincarnation of Fareed and can be defeated accordingly. Players can visit the bank between each boss.

Flambeed is fight-able along with Agrith-Na-Na and Dessourt as a class D boss monster in the Dominion Tower minigame if the player has completed Recipe For Disaster.

Strengths and weaknesses

Flambeed is weak to any Water spell, melee attacks (though ice gloves are required), and Ice arrows. Casting Snare on him, putting a distance between you and him, then casting your strongest Water spell and repeating this process is a quick and easy way to take care of this foe. He uses melee and magic attacks, so players should bring food since prayer is not allowed. If you do ranged, you do not need to bring ice gloves to wield a bow; however, when he attacks you, it will be unequipped, so try to find a safe spot along the edge such as trapping him behind one of the portals.

Trivia

  • Flambeed could be a food-related pun on Fareed, one of the bosses from the Desert Treasure quest.
  • Flambeed could also be a reference to the part of the Sir Amik Varze subquest, where you have to flambe the creme brulee.
