Just added another little calculator Calculators/Runecrafting guild tokens - not a complex one, but we were wrongly stating that members were best off buying pure essence with their tokens, and it highlighted that. I was inspired because I wanted to see when people would switch to Chaos talismans which are being heavily ramped right now - (the answer is over 15k incidentally, well above the proclaimed "dumping point" - I had a couple in bank, I sold them).
Anyone want any other calcs? They are quite fun to write.

Can you do a Fishing calculator? • NnK Oliver • (600613) talk 22:47, February 26, 2010 (UTC)
- yes seems like a good candiate. Rich Farmbrough, 01:47 27 February 2010 (GMT).

I have been meaning to make one that shows what can be looted from imp-jars and compares it to the cost to buy the jar from the GE, though I have never got around to it since I have not been in a calculator-making mood for a while. You can make it if you want. Evil Yanks talk 00:25, February 27, 2010 (UTC)
- I'll look at that one too. I also started Calculators/POH goods, anyone can add to this. Rich Farmbrough, 01:47 27 February 2010 (GMT).
- OK for hat you need the probabilities, as we have done with Crystal Chests and is being done, I think with clue-scrolls. Rich Farmbrough, 03:47 27 February 2010 (GMT).
The Summoning training article is a real mess. I think that could certainly use some cleaning up, especially with the calcs. I've been working on it as well. I'm a regular user and I approve this message. TLUL Talk - Contribs 23:52, February 28, 2010 (UTC)
Java calc
I am working on making a java calculator for multiple skills and items. I'm only making one right now, the rest can/may/will be made later. Which skill should I do? Please keep it reasonable, don't ask me to make a melee/ranged/magic calc, I want the first one to stay (somewhat) simple. GESUYrwojy 01:57, March 7, 2010 (UTC)

- Okay, I have made a basic calc at User:Rwojy/Sandbox/test. I plan to add more fish (somewhat) soon. NTFORZFrwojy 04:36, March 7, 2010 (UTC)
- The thing looks like it works. One thing is problematic though; the calculator tells you to fish 0.1 shrimps to level from 1 to 2 xp, you could use the ceilling option to round it down to the right number. Also, if you need a guideline to help you make your calculator try visiting the calculators located at RuneScape:WikiGuilds/Calculators. --Talk Newbie856 edit count Nomad guide 17:12, March 7, 2010 (UTC)
- Can you insert Java Applets with MediaWiki? if so, I could make a few Calcs... Or only JS?~~Signed,Bulbear4444~~ 19:31, March 13, 2010 (UTC)
- No, we don't have java enabled. All the calculation is done via normal wikicode anyway, the JS is just the form. @Gaz#7521 19:45, March 13, 2010 (UTC)

It's done. User:Rwojy/Sandbox. Anyone have any suggestions before I move it to the mainspace? SUMABMrwojy 16:31, April 1, 2010 (UTC)
Runecrafting proft (loss) per trip
I made this (slightly clunky) calc ages ago Calculators/Runes_profit_per_trip I just added another table for familiars. But the interesting thing is you don't start making a profit until level 19 even then it is miniscule, and from crafting waters. If you compare this table with runecrafting training the advice there is outdated - for example you don't start making profit from Cosmics until level 59 by which time Laws are more XP and more profit.
Does anyone fancy re-factoring the runecrafting training article? Rich Farmbrough, 18:13 7 March 2010 (GMT).
Comment - I agree, Calcs are fun to write. Unfortunately, I can't find the time to make them anymore... How about a Calc that finds how much exp you need to a level and how much <insert ___ here, I.E. Oak larders> you need to catch for your next level... That'd be pretty complex, though, just warning you. --

- Well, you could make it connect to IRC and ask RuneScript about it. Then you wouldn't need to write the formulas to calculate it (only joking). I'm a regular user and I approve this message. TLUL Talk - Contribs 18:57, March 11, 2010 (UTC)
- Shove
{{XP level to level|start level|end level}}
into an #expr: and divide it by the experience per item - pretty tame compared to some, and the basis of most skill-calculators. Check out RuneScape:WikiGuilds/Calculators and its talk page for more discussion and helpful links and templates. @Gaz#7521 20:07, March 11, 2010 (UTC)
Closed - Going ahead and closing this as it seems activity has died down and nothing is being proposed here anyway. C.ChiamTalk 13:32, April 11, 2010 (UTC)
