I opened this thread because I want to discuss modulizing "other use" templates.

In this case, it involves {{Redirect}} and {{Otheruses}}. I want to propose making these templates in the Module: namespace using LUA and invoking them inside of the currently existing templates. The goal of this would be to obtain the ability to specify more than one "alternate case", so to speak.

Also for this purpose, I want to propose adding a disambig=(yes/no) parameter, which would simply add a disambiguation link after all other defined alternate cases.

Please leave your ideas about this matter. Beach ball ThePsionic Ice cream 15:56, December 13, 2014 (UTC)

Support both - As nominator. Beach ball ThePsionic Ice cream 15:56, December 13, 2014 (UTC)

Comment/Support - This looks more like a case of RS:BB to me, than something that warrants a Yew Grove thread and consensus. Since LUA was accepted as a normal part of this wiki, various templates have already been migrated. I see no reason why this one should stay if LUA can offer benefits. Yeah, this is pretty much just a matter of "will be done once someone gets around to it" Ancient talisman Oil4 Talk 17:21, December 13, 2014 (UTC)

Just do it - This is a nice simple one for someone to start out on, just a couple of conditionals. It's not going to provide much of a benefit to pageload, but every little helps I guess :) User:Cqm/Signature
