Hello all!

We have created a new Runescape Fansite that we would like to link into your page http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/RuneScape:Links

The site is called Runetime (http://www.runetime.com) and offers a community based Runescape theme. Different from some other sites, we offer an online-Radio with interactive Chat, plus all the usual features such as quest guides, databases, etc. However, to foster a strong community we are holding many events such as GP and Bond giveaways... this is not a short-term thing, but a permanent feature of our site. How better to get free Runescape membership? :) We are privately funded, and accept no AD's, and offer a safe, responsible community. Please come and check us out!

We have placed a backlink to your site in our locked forums: http://www.runetime.com/index.php?/topic/29-other-websites-we-love/

Thanks,

Woofy

Not yet - I don't mind associating ourselves with other websites, but you've only just started as you say yourself. I say we wait for a bit, see how you guys do, and if you can keep up a good standard then I'd be happy to see an association. For now, it's a no. Adding to that, are you associated with the "Runetime" private server? Ancient talisman Oil4 Talk 21:49, February 25, 2014 (UTC)

Support - You guys do seem very enthusiastic and driven. I guess there's no harm in it. Ancient talisman Oil4 Talk 23:00, February 27, 2014 (UTC)

Comment -

runescape.wikia.com -- The RuneScape Wiki could be one of the most detailed fansites out there, and we hope to rival them!

What does that have to do with anything? They're not out to destroy us. They're saying they wish to be on the same level of greatness as us. Do you have any idea what you're saying? This is totally irrelevant. MolMan 15:01, February 26, 2014 (UTC)
And after they become the same level of greatness as us or better, then they'll destroy us. ;) --Jlun2 (talk) 16:07, February 26, 2014 (UTC)
It's a fair thing to point out, why be so harsh. Ronan Talk 23:20, February 26, 2014 (UTC)
It really doesn't matter at all. He's treating it like they're making some sort of threat, when they're really just trying to be friendly competition. MolMan 23:27, February 26, 2014 (UTC)
"He's treating it like they're making some sort of threat."[source needed] - Temujin 09:29, February 28, 2014 (UTC)
If that's not what you were saying, there was absolutely no reason to point that out. For the purposes of linking, we have no reason to care if they want to be our rivals or not, in fact, as ʞooɔ pointed out, it's better than having a monopoly. Please have a valid argument the next time you cite someone with emphasis. MolMan 02:13, March 2, 2014 (UTC)

You seem to have a fundamental misunderstanding of that policy, because it has absolutely no valid invocation here. The policy (in a nutshell) states that unless there's reason to believe otherwise, all edits are assumed to be made for the betterment of the wiki. I never accused you of having bad intentions; I accused you of being wrong. Right now, I'm only seeing more examples of you having no idea what you're actually saying. MolMan 13:05, March 5, 2014 (UTC)
Is this still about RuneTime? If it isn't, please take it elsewhere. Ancient talisman Oil4 Talk 16:55, March 5, 2014 (UTC)
Temujin, it's good to have rivals. It's no fun being complacent. ʞooɔ 23:33, February 26, 2014 (UTC)

It was a hard fought battle. But in the end, I was the one who counted the votes. Isn't that all that really matters? ʞooɔ 00:10, February 27, 2014 (UTC)

Support - Why not? You took the time to make a request here, which isn't particularly straightforward. The site isn't great yet, but it mostly occupies a separate space from what we do, in terms of radio and social media and all that stuff. It's not costing us anything to put RuneTime on the list. ʞooɔ 23:33, February 26, 2014 (UTC)

Support - Ok. Best of luck with your site and content. Ronan Talk 23:41, February 26, 2014 (UTC)

Support - I am okay with this. User:TyA/sig 13:43, February 27, 2014 (UTC)

Stronk Sappurt - I joined the site; it's really nice-looking and has a small-but clearly-dedicated community as of now. =D 7kyt1iT.gif --WINE OF GOOD HEALTH (Actually Stinko) 15:55, February 27, 2014 (UTC)

Support - Looks like a good setup. It'll be cool to see where it goes. Nice, clean-looking website. Have to respect that. Content will come over time. User:Haloolah123/Sig 22:47, March 1, 2014 (UTC)

Support - Good luck with your site. It would be unfair of us to make you fall victim to the catch-22 of fansite traffic. MolMan 02:13, March 2, 2014 (UTC)

Closed - Runetime will be added to our affiliates list. User:Urbancowgurl777/Signature 04:46, March 7, 2014 (UTC)
