This is a relatively minor issue, but to me, it's worth bringing up. As you know, various Yew grove threads have titles that ends with exclaimation marks or apostrophes, so far so good, but, and that is, a big but, when clicking links to the threads, it invaribly tells me the thread '''cannot''' be found, because of an error, e.g. Forum:AABBCCDD? becomes (for the system) Forum AABBCCDD - note the missing mark. The system dosn't recognise threads ending with these marks, and treats them as if they do not exist, and in the end, I have absolutely no way to locate the original threads, since the system just bumps me back to that "that page does not exist" page . I tried editing the URL, using search, but to no avail, so, for the sake of even letting users finding these pages. I propose that, until this issue can be resolved, new YG threads '''will not''' end with anything other than letters or numbers. I'll go back to revising for my Triple Science now, thanks for reading. {{Signatures/Btzkillerv}} 14:15, June 14, 2010 (UTC)

'''CLARIFICATION''' It has come to my attention that the threads can be found if they're not buried beneath archives, e.g. can be seen on the Yew Grove page's thread software interface, but once they disappear after archiving, it's a nightmare to even attempt to find them. {{Signatures/Btzkillerv}} 14:19, June 14, 2010 (UTC)

Some threads are, for some reason, simply missing from the archives, and URL attempts and other tries result in failure. {{Signatures/Btzkillerv}} 14:19, June 14, 2010 (UTC)

Forums: Yew Grove > Question & Exclamation marks at article titles

This is a relatively minor issue, but to me, it's worth bringing up. As you know, various Yew grove threads have titles that ends with exclaimation marks or apostrophes, so far so good, but, and that is, a big but, when clicking links to the threads, it invaribly tells me the thread cannot be found, because of an error, e.g. I propose that, until this issue can be resolved, new YG threads will not end with anything other than letters or numbers. I'll go back to revising for my Triple Science now, thanks for reading.
