I was browsing wikipedia a few seconds ago when I stumbled upon the Wookieepedia page followed by many other wikia wiki's articles. Would it be a good idea for one of our editors who edit/know wikipedia to create a RuneScape Wiki page?? IT would slightly get out name out there. They all have something I'm pretty sure we don't: sources. I don't think this wiki has ever been mentioned anywhere outside of runescape and maybe a few fansites, which doesn't qualify as notable. RLLWI^rwojy 07:04, February 7, 2010 (UTC)

Halopedia had an article on Wikipedia once upon a time. It was deleted because only one source could be found where some writer happened to say "the Halopedia", but was referring to the Halo Bible. I agree. Those wikis are much smaller, although they have more outer sources and information of their history/content than our fine wiki. An example would be Lostpedia, and how they decided to merge with Wikia after many unsuccessful attempts. Cheers, Chicken7 ^>talk 13:10, February 7, 2010 (UTC)

There is no way the Runescape wiki meets the notability required for a page on Wikipedia and any attempt to create a article there is likely to hurt the changes of getting there in the future (if/when we do have notable sources) -- Mercifull ^(Talk) 08:54, February 8, 2010 (UTC)

Maybe we could write about our wiki on the wikipedia article about runescape somewhere near the end? We could even make a section on the article about runescape which told about useful fansites. There was a discussion a while back (i.e. 2007) on how many and which RuneScape fansites would be linked to at the bottom of the article. I don't believe we were going to be included on any basis other than the fact that we were a wiki with an active community. At the time, RuneHQ, Zybez and Tip.It were all definitely more popular than we were, so we should be thankful we even have that. Chiafriend12I have 12 friends. 00:12, February 10, 2010 (UTC)

Err, we have an article right now at Runescape Wikia (wrongly spelt and capitalised)RuneScape Wiki, and is being considered for deletion. It will probably will be deleted as "RuneScape Wiki" was back in 2007.   az ^talk   11:33, February 10, 2010 (UTC)
