Right! since it's not very long before the year invaribly ends, I've decided to be bold and create this page.
The previous wikifests worked well but with a few flaws, one of which (unfortunately it is always the hardest to fix) is, uh, crowd control, but otherwise it worked well. The wiki would certainly work better with the meet and greet in a quiet place.
I propose that we have a new event this year - the good Good/bad santas - special wiki santas will either give trinkets or coal to random people, all in the name of the wiki.
The recent Autumn wikifest where it was split into the eastern and western wikifests worked very well, so I'm hoping it would work this time as well.
If there's going to be hide 'an seek, I'd recommend it be carried out in Varrock, because it's big. Also, instead of random bombing, what about forming the words WIKI with cabbages instead?
Also, I recommend the whole wiki join the clan wars mayhem in World 141, should they choose this over Dungeoneering (because both are time-consuming), because it is litrally the home of Clan Wars, the wiki could make a name for itself there.
I have little ideas about the schedule, and I think it's better to let the more experienced users decide.
Also, I would like to hint that this wikifest, being at the end of the year, should end with a bang.15:41, November 17, 2010 (UTC)
Comment - Forming the word WIKI using cabbages would take too much organisation, and in the end people will just be dropping cabbages as they please. Having the fest on 141 could be a problem for people with slow computers, this world is laggy. Especially at the Clan Wars lobby. Also the world is often full meaning we may not be able to get everyone on. User:Swizzl3d/Sig 17:59, November 17, 2010 (UTC)
Comment - I agree ^. We should probably organize a Special Events Team to work soley on this (and other upcoming wiki events) and have a thread for comments and questions for them. this would probably work better than having lots of people work on events because a lot of people = a lot of chaos. Tell me what you think either here or on my talk page. Thanks! Axela40 18:39, November 17, 2010 (UTC)
- The would probably be against RS:AEAE. 19:27, November 17, 2010 (UTC)
Request for Closure - If it's all the same to you, Cook is supposed to open this thread when he is prepared to start planning. Therefore, this thread should be closed. User:Stelercus/Signature 21:29, November 17, 2010 (UTC)
