The fractite chainbody is an item that can only be obtained and used while training Dungeoneering. It may be picked up from the table at the beginning of a dungeon, obtained as a monster drop, or produced using the Smithing skill.

It is the strongest chainbody that free players can obtain in Daemonheim.

If possible, it is usually advised to produce a fractite platebody instead, as it gives better defence bonuses overall. However, it is somewhat heavier, requires a higher Smithing level to make, and requires 5 bars as opposed to 3, making the chainbody more accessible to some players.
