Hatchet head (dragon)
Frog token was removed after an update.
The contents of this page no longer exist in RuneScape, and this article is kept for historical purposes.

A Frog token is a discontinued reward from the frogs random event. It could be exchanged for a prince outfit, princess outfit, or a frog mask by taking it to Thessalia's Fine Clothes shop in Varrock. Frog tokens could not be withdrawn as notes and did not stack.

Once the player had received the prince outfit/princess outfit and Frog mask, the player could exchange tokens for additional copies of the outfit or mask.

Effective on the 25 February 2009 update, all player-owned frog tokens (both F2P and P2P) were automatically converted to Random event gifts, which made the token a discontinued item, be the tokens in a player's inventory, in a bank, or in a bank of a former member with full items.

Trivia

  • Once most players got an outfit and mask, they would just drop additional frog tokens they got, as there was no good reason to keep them. In the weeks before the 25 February 2009 update, Jagex announced that the random event system would be changed and suggested that players keep any frog tokens they got, as they would be become valuable. It is confirmed that a few players had retained all the tokens they ever got, which meant they received many gifts when the update occurred.
