Fungal flakes are dropped by monsters in the Polypore Dungeon, or by throwing Neem Oil over the monsters in the dungeon. This might result in only one or two flakes, but the chances upon receiving them is much bigger.
The only purpose of these flakes is to be used to upgrade mycelium web armour to fungal armour.
