The Game Guide (also called the Knowledge Base (KB) or the Manual) was a section of the RuneScape website dedicated to providing information about the game before being replaced with a community-editable wiki.
History[]
The game guide was once a much larger resource for information about the game. However, this was changed with the introduction of an official wiki on the RuneScape website, with most of the game guide information being replaced.
Subcategories of the old Game Guide include:
- Manual, the former Knowledge Base, included full articles about skills, locations and training methods.
- QuestHelp, the official Jagex program to help out players on quests.
- Grand Exchange, which links to the Grand Exchange Database.
- Rules
- Lores - Extended information about the lore of the game, including some lore surplus to information provided in-game.
On 22 November 2011, the Game Guide was changed into a community-editable wiki.[1]
