Giant crypt rats are found in the tunnels of the Barrows. They mostly look like normal giant rats, with the exception of a slight greenish tint. They are usually at the centre of the room. They can be a small threat when low on health or run energy. Every time you kill one in the Barrows, your kill count will be raised by one. They are also a constant annoyance if they are in the room with your Puzzle Door. They have a max hit of 330 life points, but they rarely hit over 200.

They can also be found in two caves within the Chaos Tunnels. They drop many more charms here than in the Barrows.
