A Goat is an animal found in the Kharidian Desert south of Al-Kharid. They drop horns used in Herblore to create Combat potions, and used as Summoning tertiary ingredients in infusing Smoke devil pouches. The greatest amount of spawns are west of the Kalphite lair (accessible via Fairy ring BIQ; however, the goats near Nardah are much closer to a bank. The leg movements on various goats was fixed as of 26 October 2009.

• South-east of the Shantay Pass, north of Pollnivneach - 4 goats.
• North of Sophanem, east of the quest start point for Icthlarin's Little Helper - 5 goats.
• West of Nardah - 3 goats and 1 billy goat just west of bank plus 2 goats and 1 billy goat at north-west edge of Nardah. South of fairy ring code DLQ.
• North-west of Uzer, near the mine.
• South-west of the entrance to the Kalphite Lair, near fairy ring code BIQ - 5 goats 1 billy goat.

Trivia

• Since 'Billy' goats, the male of species, are a different creature, all 'goats' are does or nannies, the females. The images support this idea, as the billy is larger than the nanny, a common sexual dimorphism trait among many mammal species.
• The goat is only monster other than the unicorn that needs to have its horn ground-up for a herblore potion.
