Gold athlete's legs was removed from RuneScape after an update, but still exists in-game for those who had obtained it.

The gold athlete's legs are an item from the Gielinor Games. They were not made available to buy until the release of the games on 24 July 2012. The legs may be purchased from Oomad Arrow's Gielinor Games Reward Shop for 1,500 contribution points. Every item from the set can be stored in POH's toy box. The Herculean gold ring or the Gold torch is not a part of the set. If you try to rest while wearing the gold athlete legs with a resting override activated, your player will not perform the override, but will rest in the default way of sitting down. This also occurs while wearing the silver and bronze athlete legs. It is not known if this is a glitch or was done on purpose.
