A Golden hammer may be obtained by players during the Priest in Peril quest while searching the monuments in the Paterdomus Temple's dungeon for an Iron key. The hammer has no known use, as it cannot be used for Smithing nor for opening the Bandos door in the God Wars Dungeon. However, players can cast Low or High alchemy on it to receive a small amount of coins. It is not possible to obtain this item after the quest is complete because of an unknown update a few years ago. Before the update, it was possible to take a normal hammer and replace the golden one with it.
