Gorgonite equipment

Gorgonite equipment (Tier 9) is the second strongest smithable melee equipment and third strongest melee equipment found while Dungeoneering. Gorgonite armour requires level 80 defence to wear. The weapons require level 80 attack to wield, while level 80 strength is needed for the Gorgonite Maul.

Gorgonite equipment cannot be found at the starting room, regardless of the player's combat stats. It can only be found by killing monsters that wield gorgonite equipment (combat level in some cases). Some bosses also have a chance of dropping gorgonite equipment.

Alternatively, the player can create gorgonite equipment from scratch. This requires at least 80 Mining to mine for ore, and 89 Smithing to create every piece of gorgonite equipment.
