Gower Quest is a quest that was announced at RuneFest 2015. It will be released as part of RuneScape's 15 Year Anniversary Celebrations. The quest is planned for release in the week beginning 20 June 2016 and is planned to be a standalone quest with minimal, if any, requirements.[2] The Gower Quest will have input from Andrew and Paul Gower as guest designers and executive producers, as well as featuring them as in-game characters.[3] The quest's plot will see the brothers living as cabbagemancers on the Gower farm, south of Varrock, failing to grow cabbages in their cabbage patches. The player will have to create an amulet of cabbage-speak to find out what the cabbages want.[4][5]

- A competition running from 5 November to 30 November 2015 gave players a chance to send in suggestions for the quest reward of the Gower Quest. The Flames of Lloigh-enn Home Teleport override was the winner of this competition, as determined by a Player Power poll.
- It is possible to walk in infinite loops in the "Behind the Scenes" area by clicking to one of the far ends of the area. Your character will be teleported back to the other side of the room.
- The Acid Skill door's text is a reference to Acid-Base reactions in chemistry, producing a salt.
