Granite equipment is, as the name suggests, equipment made from granite. Unlike most armours, which have boots and gloves or gauntlets, there are only four pieces of granite armour. They are members only items. The shield is dropped by various trolls; the granite legs are dropped by Skeletal Wyverns; the body is available from the Barbarian assault minigame, and one may kill terror dogs to find a granite helmet. Any piece of granite equipment may be bought at the Grand Exchange or from another person. To wear pieces of granite armour, 55 Defence and 55 Strength are required. Granite armour has the same defence as Rune armour. However, the granite body gives more life bonus than the rune version. Granite armour is also notable for being much heavier than other pieces of equipment (Granite platelegs have a mass of 15 kg, and as a comparison, rune platelegs have a mass of 9 kg).
Granite equipment cannot be carved from granite that can be mined from the quarry.
Dondakan the Dwarf owns granite boots, but refuses to sell them for any price.

Weapons
- The Granite maul is dropped by gargoyles or alternatively can be bought through the Grand Exchange.
- The Granite mace is dropped by the statues in Bandos' throne room after completion of The Chosen Commander or can be bought at the Grand Exchange.
Trivia
- When worn on male players, the body and legs cover up all of that area of skin. However, when worn on female players, the midriff is shown.
- The colour of granite rocks in the quarry are of a sandy desert colour, while the granite armour has a grey-ish tone.
- Granite armour provides the highest negative magic attack bonus in proportion to its required levels, with an exception for the granite body which can be replaced with a rune platebody for an extra -9 bonus. Wearing all the armour will provide you with enough negative magic attack bonus to splash all attacks, even while wielding a mud staff, for example.
