Greater Reverence is an Aura available as part of the Members Loyalty Programme and can be purchased from Xuan in Burthorpe, for 21,000 loyalty points and Reverence.
When activated, greater reverence has these effects:
- It gives 5% extra prayer points when a player drinks: a Prayer potion (5-15 extra points depending on level), Super prayer potion (5-20 extra points depending on level) or Super restore. This effect stacks with the Holy wrench.
- Prayer drains 5% slower than usual.
Once greater reverence is activated, it lasts 1 hour, followed by a cooldown time of 3 hours before it can be activated again. This means a player must wait a total of 4 hours between activations of the aura. Like all the other auras, it is depleted if the player unequips it after activating it, but this does not reduce the amount of time required before it can be activated again. Instead, the remaining activation time plus the cooldown time must still pass. For example, if a player unequips the aura 15 minutes after activating it, 3 hours and 45 minutes must pass before it can be activated again. Also, as with all auras, if the account using it is logged out while the aura is activated, the timer will continue to run out.
Note: The activation and recharging seem to occur in real time, not game time. However, it does use game time, as the time left indicator shows, every 10 game ticks, (6 seconds) the timer is adjusted 6 seconds down.
If greater reverence is lost, the player may retrieve it from Xuan for free.
Note: you can only buy this aura when you have the 'Lesser' version, as it is an upgrade. Therefore, the price is 21,000+5,000 = 26,000 Loyalty points.
