Dragonhide chaps (g) are part of the green d'hide gold-trimmed set, along with a green dragonhide body (g). Their stats are identical to green dragonhide chaps, but they have a gold trim. To wear green dragonhide chaps (g), a player must have 40 Defence. It should be noted that both green dragonhide chaps (g) and blue dragonhide chaps (g) are both known simply as "dragonhide chaps (g)" in the game, which can lead to confusion in some cases.
This item is a reward from a level 2 clue scroll as part of the Treasure Trails activity. Unlike normal dragonhide armour, this cannot be made with the Crafting skill, nor can trim be added to normal green dragonhide chaps via any method.
Green dragonhide chaps (g) are worth significantly more than a green dragonhide body (g), which is not usually the case with armour sets. This is likely because the chaps only require 40 Ranged to wear, whereas the body has an additional requirement of 40 Defence and having completed Dragon Slayer. Because of this, the chaps have a higher demand within the pure community than the body does.
