This article is about the armour set with platelegs. For the armour set with a plateskirt, see Guthix armour set (sk).

Guthix armour sets (lg) are made by exchanging a Guthix full helm, Guthix platebody, Guthix platelegs, and Guthix kiteshield with a Grand Exchange clerk. The set is purely to save space (inventory or bank slots) and for use in the Grand Exchange. The Guthix set was the third most expensive set of rune armour obtained in free play worlds, but was eventually succeed by the Rune gold-trimmed armour set (l) by cost. It is mainly for show as it has the same defence bonuses as regular Rune armour. Some players like to wear matching Fremennik boots, Fremennik gloves, Rune Gloves/Rune Gauntlets, an Amulet of Defence and a Guthix God cape, Team cape or green cape, to make it look slightly better.

Glitches: The trim colour of the Guthix Kiteshield is a different colour than the trim colour of the rest of the set. This is at least the case for the colour on the outside of the kiteshield, on the most inner inside it does have the correct trim colour. The trim colour of the rest off is called Phasmatys green, when browsing through the colours of Thessalia's Makeovers. This glitch does not occur with the Rune trimmed, Gold trimmed, Armadyl, Bandos, Zaros/Ancient,Saradomin and/or Zamorak kiteshield. Though it seems unlikely that this is meant intentional, it's unknown whether Jagex realises this/will fix this.
