Prosecution[]

To successfully prosecute Vidar, follow these steps before entering the courtroom:

  • Read through the two case reports.
  • Interview Vidar Ilknot, located in the courthouse. Go through all the chat options.
  • Interview Gamdin, located in the courthouse. Go through all the chat options.
  • Use the viewing orb to get to the crime scene.
  • Use the magnifying glass on Gamdin, the Purchase receipt, and Vidar.
  • Analyse the fingerprints. Select and confirm a match with Gamdin's print.
  • Leave the crime scene.

Then go into the courtroom below. Follow these steps:

  • Present the receipt as evidence. Say "The receipt is for an item in Gamdin's possession."
  • Present the jade as evidence. Say "Vidar claims this jade was stolen."
  • Call Vidar to the stand. Ask him about "Goblins." Then ask "How do you feel about goblins?"
  • Call Gamdin to the stand. Ask him about "The incident." Then ask "Would you describe the incident to me?"
  • Direct the closing statement at the barbarian.

Defence[]

To successfully defend Vidar, follow these steps before entering the courtroom:

  • Read through the two case reports.
  • Interview Vidar Ilknot and Gamdin, both located in the courthouse. If you don't talk to Gamdin at all, you won't be able to call him as a witness. Make sure you go through all of the questions for both, as there is information that improves your closing argument, even though you don't need to specifically ask anything beyond what is listed below in the trial.
  • Use the viewing orb to get to the crime scene.
  • Use the magnifying glass on Gamdin, the Purchase receipt, and Vidar.
  • Analyse the fingerprints. Select and confirm a match with Gamdin's print.
  • Leave the crime scene.
  • A successful defence can be conducted without the fingerprints evidence.

Then go into the courtroom below. Follow these steps:

  • Present the H.A.M. gloves as evidence. Say "These gloves were found on Gamdin."
  • Present the jade as evidence. Say "There is a fingerprint on this piece of jade."
  • Present the Receipt. Say "This could be anyone's Receipt."
  • Call Vidar to the stand. Ask him about "The stolen items." Ask him "Was anything of yours missing?"
  • Call Gamdin to the stand. Ask him about "the incident." Ask him "You must have known H.A.M was in the area." Ask him about "The stolen items." Ask him "Where did the H.A.M. gloves come from?"
  • Direct the closing statement at the cook.
