A Hardleather body is leather armour most commonly worn by rangers. Hardleather body requires 10 Defence to wear. Players can make this item through the Crafting skill at level 28 from a hard leather, while having a needle and some thread in their inventory, granting 35 Crafting experience.
Hardleather bodies are commonly made by non-members in bulk as a primary source of crafting experience, which has caused the prices of it to rarely exceed any more than 80 coins on the Grand Exchange.
Due to overproduction by F2P players training crafting, the Grand Exchange price of the item's price has dropped far below the low alchemy and the store price. The supply of this item is always over-saturated, so it is strongly recommended to use the Explorer ring's free Low alchemy to prevent further loss by crafting them.
