Hazelmere's signet ring is a ring that, when worn, slightly increases the chances to receive certain unique drops and rewards that are affected by the luck mechanic. It is classified as a tier 4 luck enhancer, and it also works as a tier 1-3 luck item. When the luck effect activates, the following message appears in the chat box: You feel the luck of Hazelmere shine upon you! The ring can be equipped right before the monster dies or before the player loots the monster's chest or corpse to benefit from the ring's luck effect. The ring also provides unlimited teleports to the Grand Exchange, Miscellania, Keldagrim, and the Tree Gnome Stronghold.
When worn, there is a rare chance for the ring to double a drop[1] provided that the drop doesn't come from an interface. For example, looting from chests or bodies from killing the Queen Black Dragon, Araxxi, Raid Bosses, or Telos, the Warden will not work. When a drop is doubled, the following message appears in the chat box: The power of Hazelmere blesses your drop, doubling it before your very eyes!
The ring can be received from any monster with access to the rare drop table. It is obtained from the "Super Rare" section of the rare drop table, requiring players to have tier 4 luck to receive it as a monster drop.[2][3] Being on a Slayer assignment is not required to receive the ring as a drop.[4] Receiving a blurberry special drop indicates a failed 1/10 chance roll for the ring. Receiving a cheese+tom batta drop indicates a player would have rolled for a chance at the ring but did not use a tier 4 luck item.[5]

History
Hazelmere's signet ring was released as a hidden update along with the luck rework on 27 March 2017; information on how to obtain the ring was not provided.
According to Mod Timbo, Hazelmere's signet ring had been obtainable since the release of the luck rework[6] and there were no quest requirements to obtain the ring.[7] Mod Timbo hinted that obtaining Hazelmere's signet ring from the rare drop table was "on the right track"[8] and later confirmed on 17 April 2017 that Hazelmere's signet ring is obtained from the "Super Rare" section of the rare drop table, requiring players to have at least tier 4 luck to receive it as a monster drop. The ring is obtained in a similar manner as the Vecna skull, except the ring is much rarer.[2]
Throughout April, players theorised that the ring was bugged and could not drop,[9] was time-gated,[10] required other luck-enhancing items on top of luck of the dwarves,[11] related to the Mysterious perk[12] or could only be obtained through treasure trails.[13] However, Mod Timbo confirmed these theories were false. On 27 May 2017, Mod Timbo explicitly confirmed that no other special conditions are needed to obtain the ring.[14]
Despite claims of the ring being obtained by players as early as April,[15] Mod Timbo announced on 30 May that one player has received the ring as a drop, while killing dark beasts.[16] There was meant to be a server-wide announcement when the first ring dropped, but because the player who received it had their private chat set to off, this was prevented from happening.[17] Mod Timbo sent a message to the player to inform them of what the ring was and its functions.[18] Subsequent drops did not result in a server-wide announcement,[19] but this was changed in a hidden update.
The ring's drop rate was increased slowly by Mod Timbo from the day it was released until it was first received as a drop by a player. It was first received as a drop by a player in the week prior to 30 May 2017.[17] The first player to publicly acknowledge their ownership of the ring obtained it on 31 May 2017 from the Queen Black Dragon after it was made more common.[20]
