The Head of a swamp creature is fought on a boat ride during the Temple Trekking minigame. It is accompanied by four of its tentacles. The head and tentacles attack only with melee, so Protect from Melee or Deflect Melee is recommended.
Strategy[]
The head can only be defeated when the four level 97 tentacles are killed. The head can hit up to 200 life points, and the tentacles can hit up to 120 life points each.
One strategy to kill this multi-part monster is to use Protect from Melee and kill the tentacle closest to the follower. When that is dead, the follower should be a little safer.
Kill the other tentacles in order from the distance from the follower, closest to farthest. Poisoning a tentacle works well as the poison damages all four tentacles as well as the head.
If the head is near death and a tentacle is still alive, it will return to full health. When the tentacles are dead, the head should not be much of a problem.
