A hollow reed is an item obtained by using a machete on the tall reeds in the pure water spring in the centre of the Kharazi Jungle.
The reed is used during the Legends' Quest, where it must be used on the pure water spring in the Kharazi Jungle to obtain a golden bowl filled with pure water. It has no use other than during the quest, but it was an item often used in scams. Hollow reeds are no longer tradeable, presumably for this reason.
