A huge XP lamp (Herblore) is a possible reward from helping Meg in your player-owned port. It is also one of the lamps that can be obtained by buying a random huge XP lamp from the Waiko Reward Shop run by Boni on Waiko for 5,200 chimes.
Once each week (the week resets on Wednesday at approximately 00:00 UTC) Meg will ask for your advice on how to deal with three situations that she is expecting on her adventures. After hearing your advice, she will teleport out to her adventures. When Meg returns the following Wednesday, players receive a chatbox message upon logging in: "You receive word that Meg has returned from her latest adventure." The next time you talk to Meg, she will tell you how well she did and give you a treasure chest. Depending on how good the advice was, you will receive a small, medium, large or huge lamp in a random player-owned ports skill.
Rubbing the lamp grants the player a definite amount of Herblore experience scaled to their Herblore level, after a confirmation. These lamps cannot be banked.
Herblore lamps were not available from Meg initially: for unknown reasons, the lamps for The Biologist were Hunter until a patch on 29 August 2013.
